Incredible! We won The Yellow Path Ideas Competition in Seattle. Never has a win been more deserved than this one! Because we were the only ones who submitted! Feels a bit like a 2:0 that was negotiated at the green table afterwards. Anyway! We still enjoyed our work.
Here’s the deal: A playful landscape was to be developed from the story of The Wizard of Oz at Seattle’s Gas Works Park (nicknamed Emerald City). We transformed Dorothy’s path into a surface and let the brick escalate. Different zones of this escalation thematize the landscapes that the yellow brick path traverses in the Wizard of Oz. Thus, in our contribution a landscape is created in which everyone can find their way – including Dorothy!
