Minigolf was designed by a landscape architect. Paul Bongni invented the game on 18 standardised courses in the 1950s. We also want minigolf: But site-specific! We have designed a mobile minigolf-course-system that will be touring through Ruhrpott City. Over the next three years we are part of the Great Snail from Urbane Künste Ruhr.
Sometimes for just a few hours, sometimes for a few days, you can borrow golf-clubs from the Great Snail-Trailer, get the blocks and get started. On the surface of the city itself, which you can playfully explore and learn to understand with the minigolf-ball. Only those who can read the landscape will be able to play minigolf well! A work about playing, about cityscape and community.
Thanks to Karoline Marx for her great support for design and production!
