Water, wind, sun and sand – the topic of the competition.
It’s all there in Heiligenhafen. In great quantities, you could say. How valuable is the seemingly inexhaustible?
The project wants to show what happens when these elements gradually become less. When they disappear step by step and then suddenly reappear. An approximately 30m long corridor of wooden “O-s”, which are set up at ever smaller intervals, allow the characteristic elements of this landscape to slowly fade away until they disappear almost completely on the last few metres of the corridor. Going through a lock, visitors are abruptly exposed to the elements again.
